Mechanical Ventilation System

Designed to provide adequate air circulation, control air quality, and remove potentially harmful gases and pollutants from an enclosed parking garage. It helps to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for both vehicles and occupants within the parking facility. Designed to operate continuously or automatically by carbon monoxide detectors with nitrogen dioxide detectors.

FANS AND DUCTS DO THE WORK fresh air instale air out
When a garage is too enclosed to breathe on its own, mechanical ventilation does it with powered fans and ductwork: fresh air pushed in, stale carbon-monoxide-laden air pulled out. It works anywhere, but the fans are big motors that run on the power bill, which is why demand-controlled ventilation exists to throttle them. Illustrative.
